The Netherlands (Holland) has stopped all tourism marketing due to ‘over tourism’.

This has been building for quite some time! A while ago Amsterdam forbade any further tourism development in the centre of their city, then they stopped AirBNB. Following all this they stopped the guided torus of the Red Light area. Then they had to publish a guide to how to manage selfies around the Tulip Fields. You can read more about the selfie management whilst ‘tip toeing through the tulips – read here.
