After the military moved out the building was vacant for some time before being sold to a developer who has transformed it to a high end luxury hotel maintaining its extraordinary character.
Situated in prime central London – Whitehall – one can easily walk to the houses of parliament, Westminster Abby and 10 Downing St and Churchills bunker war rooms.
If this hotel fits your budget it would be quite an experience. If not then a coffee, or drink, at the bar would be a worthwhile investment and allow one to walk amongst some of the great ghosts of the past.
